COATING SYSTEM
PRIMERS Steel: Series 1, 10, 37H, 66, N69, 88HS, 530
Galvanized Steel and Non-Ferrous Metal: Series 66 or N69. Note: Series 66 or N69 exterior exposed for 3 weeks or longer
requires an epoxy-polyamide intermediate coat or scarification prior to topcoating with 2H. Brush blasting with fine
abrasive is the preferred method of scarification.
Drywall: 51-792
Wood: Series 36-603
SURFACE PREPARATION
ALL SURFACES Must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease and other contaminants. Remove rust and paint not tightly bonded. Spot prime.

APPLICATION
COVERAGE RATES Dry Mils (Microns) Wet Mils (Microns) Sq Ft/Gal (m²/Gal)
Suggested 1.5 (40) 3.0 (75) 524 (48.7)
Minimum 1.5 (40) 3.0 (75) 524 (48.7)
Maximum 3.5 (90) 7.0 (180) 225 (20.9)
Allow for overspray and surface irregularities. Film thickness is rounded to the nearest 0.5 mil or 5 microns. Application of
coating below minimum or above maximum recommended dry film thicknesses may adversely affect coating
performance. †
MIXING Stir thoroughly, making sure no pigment remains on the bottom of the can.
THINNING Use No. 1 Thinner or mineral spirits. For air spray, airless spray, brush or roller, thin up to 8% or 2/3 pint (302 mL) per
gallon.
